[11C]DASB PET - 5-HTT serotonin transporter

Contributed by ChrisFiloGorgolewski on Feb. 22, 2016

Collection: Normative database of the serotonergic system in healthy subjects using multi-tracer PET

Description: Out of our PET data pool we generated a serotonin transporter distribution map of the human brain. This parametric image represents the mean serotonin transporter binding potential of 30 healthy subjects (11 females, 19 males). All scans were performed with the highly selective radioligand [11C]DASB. Individual parametric images were quantified using the multilinear reference tissue model and then normalized to the MNI stereotactic space. This image shall demonstrate the regional 5-HTT binding in the living human brain and may even serve as a template for coregistration/normalization purposes. You can download it for free for personal use. If you appreciate it we are looking forward to hear about your impressions. All rights for publications and public presentations reserved.
