Collection: Normative database of the serotonergic system in healthy subjects using multi-tracer PET
Description: Out of our PET data pool we generated a serotonin-1B receptor distribution map of the human brain. This parametric image represents the mean serotonin-1B receptor binding potential of 22 healthy subjects (8 females, 14 males). All scans were performed with the highly selective radioligand [11C]P943. Individual parametric images were quantified using the multilinerar reference tissue model and then normalized to the MNI stereotactic space. This image shall demonstrate the regional 5-HT1B receptor binding in the living human brain and may even serve as a template for coregistration/normalization purposes.
