Four distinct trajectories of tau deposition identified in Alzheimer’s disease

Description: The dataset contains group average images and difference images for the Tau-PET subtypes described in Vogel et al., 2021 Nature Medicine. The following data are included:\n\n ----------SUBTYPE MEAN IMAGES---------\n\n MeanSUVR -- Whole SUVR images: mean SUVR of individuals within each subtype \n\n MeanTauZMasked -- Tau Z scores are computed using mixture modeling (see Vogel et al. 2021 Nat Med). We performed these Tau Z scores voxelwise within a conservative cortical mask. The values represent Z scores normalized to tau-negative individuals, and show greater contrast than the SUVR images. Images represent mean Tau Z of individuals within each subtype. \n\n BNA_Average -- Mean Tau Z scores for each subtype, parcellated using the Brainnetome atlas. These are the exact images used to make Figure 1A in Vogel & Hansson 2022 TiNS \n\n DKT-MB_Average -- Mean Tau Z scores for each subtype, parcellated using the MindBoggle DKT atlas. These are the exact images used to make Figure 1C in Vogel et al. 2021 Nat Med. \n\n ----------SUBTYPE COMPARISON IMAGES--------- \n Regional one vs all OLS models were fit for each subtype, controlling for SuStaIn stage, to quantify significant regional differences across subtypes. \n\n BNA_Comp -- Unthresholded T-values from above comparison, parcellated using the Brainnetome Atlas \n\n DKT-MB_Comp -- Unthresholded T-values from above comparison, parcellated using the Brainnetome Atlas. These are the exact images used to make Figure 1D in Vogel et al. 2021 Nat Med.
