MRI visual rating scales in the diagnosis of dementia: evaluation in 184 post-mortem confirmed cases

Description: Several visual rating scales have been developed specifically to rate brain regions vulnerable to atrophy in a range of different dementias. Using structural magnetic resonance scans from healthy individuals and a large sample of patients with a histopathological diagnosis of dementia, this data explores the relationship between each visual rating scale and the pattern of grey matter volume loss.
