A matter of timing ! Neural correlates of immediate vs. delayed extinction when simultaneously varying the timing of the retention test in humans

Description: Pavlovian fear conditioning and extinction paradigm with retention test The UCS was an aversive (not painful) electric stimulation. Extinction training was either conducted immediately or with a delay of 24 h (immediate vs. delayed extinction). The retention test was performed either 24 h or 7 days later (early vs. late late retention test).
