Examining the Role of Negative Emotions in Support for an Exclusionary Social Policy: an fMRI Study

Description: See OSF page for information about experiment, fMRI analyses, analyzed data, and modeling scripts (first and second level scripts): https://osf.io/37wzx/?view_only=a201a08dbe9a4fde81209fef6149d005 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This repository contains outputs from group level analyses used in published work. Volumes include inputs and outputs to whole brain group-level analyses with FSL's RANDOMISE. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Files are named according to organization; there are three types of group level tests included. (1) Files beginning with 'endorse-gt-oppose_' or 'oppose-gt-endorse_' are between-groups RANDOMISE tests. (2) files beginning with 'all-subjects_' are group-level analyses collapsed across both groups. (3) Files beginning with 'pergroup-endorse_' or 'pergroup_oppose_' are group analyses per each group (that is, not in contrast with the other group). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The second part of each file name contains information about what each contrast is. See OSF wiki linked below for information about contrasts (CONTRAST LABELS ARE DEFINED AND DESCRIBED UNDER THE MASTER PAGE FILES, ''expt_design_info.pdf" .) There are eleven contrasts in total, though note that for the 'all-subjects_' files, only three primary contrasts are analyzed and included. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Per contrast, we run FSL's RANDOMISE non-parametric group tests using family-wise error (FWE) correction of significance values. RANDOMISE produces two main files: (1) the tstat1 image ('_OneSampT_tstat1.nii.gz' or in between-groups files, '_TwoSampT_tstat1.nii.gz') and (2) the FWE-corrected map of p-values ('_FWE_corrp.nii.gz'). For some tests, we include files created for/by cluster analyses using FSL's cluster function. Related files include (1) '_thresholded_tstat_p05.nii.gz', which is a map of t values ('_tstat1.nii.gz') thresholded by significance at p < .05, based on FWE-corrp image, using fslmaths. ((2)) outputs of cluster function: (2a) 'cluster-indices.nii.gz' indicating a map of 0 for non-cluster voxels or a value 1 to n indicating which cluster the voxel belongs to. Also (2b) 'cluster-sizes.nii.gz' indicating the size of the cluster each voxel belongs to (or 0 for voxels not in a cluster). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All volumes are in MNI template space at 2x2x2 mm resolution. For more details about the template space, see the OSF wikis.
