Effects of focal brain damage on political behaviour across different political ideologies

Description: Siddiqi et al., Brain 2025 This map represents political intensity. Stronger political intensity (warm colors) was associated with lesions connected to the left dlPFC and the posterior precuneus. Less political intensity (cool colors) was associated with lesions connected to the bilateral superior temporal sulcus, amygdala, and anterior temporal lobe. Greater lesion connectivity to the frontoparietal control network (orange) was associated with greater political intensity.
