Externally induced frontoparietal synchronization modulates network dynamics and enhances working memory performance

Description: Simultaneous transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) and fMRI. Subject performed two tasks: the choice reaction time task (CRT) and a version of the n-back task (2-back). TACS were delivered in two different conditions (synchronous and desynchronous in relation to the phase of the theta (6 HZ) oscillation delivered in positions F4 and P4 of the 10-20 EEG International System).
