Neural representation of swallowing is retained with age. A functional neuroimaging study validated by classical and Bayesian inference

Description: This study looked at the difference in neuronal activation between healthy young and senior adults using fMRI. We wanted to make sure that the results were not influenced by the statistical method, so we decided to use two different approaches: Frequentist and Bayesian statistics (both implemented in SPM). Surprisingly, we found no difference between old vs young.
