Collection: Amygdala functional connectivity in major depression – disentangling markers of pathology, risk and resilience

Description: The amygdala ROIs were computed based on the literature-based approach described by Beck & Wüstenberg et al. (2012), as combined maps of coordinates of peak effects in the amygdala reported in 19 studies of the faces matching task and anatomical atlases of the superficial, laterobasal and centromedial amygdala (Zilles et al. 2002; Amunts et al. 2005). They covered mostly the laterobasal nuclei of the amygdalae. Amunts K, Kedo O, Kindler M, Pieperhoff P, Mohlberg H, Shah NJ, Habel U, Schneider F, Zilles K (2005).
