Collection: Normative database of the serotonergic system in healthy subjects using multi-tracer PET

Description: Out of our PET data pool we generated a serotonin-1A receptor distribution map of the human brain. This parametric image represents the mean serotonin-1A receptor binding potential of 36 healthy subjects (18 females, 18 males). All scans were performed with the highly selective radioligand [carbonly-11C]WAY-100635. Individual parametric images were quantified using the simplified reference tissue model 2 and then normalized to the MNI stereotactic space. This image shall demonstrate the regional 5-HT1A receptor binding in the living human brain and may even serve as a template for coregistration/normalization purposes.
