Collection: Neural divergence and convergence for attention to and detection of interoceptive and somatosensory stimuli
Description: Psychophysiological interaction analysis (PPI) with right anterior insula as a seed region. The map reflects the contrast of: (Cardiac Hits - Misses) > (Somatosensory Hits - Misses). Therefore, the maps shows regions of the brain which present increased functional connectivity with the right anterior insula seed when participants correctly detect heartbeats than somatosensory stimuli.
