First versus second half of threat learning during approach periods

Contributed by SpaceAndMemory on Jan. 9, 2018

Collection: Linked networks for learning and expressing location-specific threat

Description: Activity differences over time (1st half versus 2nd half of the experiment) during approach periods of the threat learning task. Greater activity was seen in medial parietal areas, vmPFC and the hippocampus during the second half of the experiment. In contrast, greater activity in the insula and ventrolateral PFC was observed during the first half of the experiment.
