Collection: Does Losing Money Really Hurt? Shared Neural Circuits Between Monetary Loss and Pain
Description: We searched relevant papers in Google Scholar on 27 December 2019 and supplemented the included literature by searching papers in Pudmed on 16 November 2021. For physical pain, we used the terms fMRI AND pain AND ("electric stimuli" OR "thermal stimuli" OR "mechanical stimuli" OR "pressure stimuli") AND participants and identified 4514 studies. The physical pain dataset includes 615 participants and 30 studies containing 32 experiments and 568 foci. We conducted a SDM meta-analysis to find out consistently activated brain regions related to physical pain.This map was the whole-brain unthresholded SDM z map corresponding to physical pain.
