Description: For each pre-processed rest time series separately, AFNI’s ‘3dSetupGroupInCorr’ was specified, loading in the respective time series of all subjects into an object to be used as input for ‘3dGroupInCorr’, a program that in turn computes the average time series within the specified input mask (i.e., aHPC) to then compute the Pearson correlation between the averaged time course within the input mask and the time course of each voxel in the brain. GCOR was included as a subject-level covariate to further account for nuisance sources. ‘3dGroupInCorr’ does not only calculate seed-based FC at group level but also outputs the individual Fisher's z-transformed results. The output image has 56 volumes: (1) mean correlation whole sample (covariate included), (2) z values mean correlation whole sample (covariate included), (3) effect of gcor variable whole sample, (4) z values effect of gcor variable whole sample, (5) mean correlation whole sample (covariate NOT included), (6) z values mean correlation whole sample (covariate NOT included), (7-56) individual seed-based FC maps.
