Collection: The effect of sleep restriction on empathy for pain: An fMRI study in younger and older adults

Description: 38 younger and 33 older participants were included in a age group X sleep condition factorial design. At 1st level pain > baseline contrasts were created per session, resulting in 2 contrasts per subject. At 2:nd level these 2 contrasts were entered with age group as a between subject factor and sleep condition as a within subject factor. Equal variance was not assumed. Dependency was allowed across sleep conditions. Full sleep verses sleep restriction was examined through a t-contrast.
