PM analysis during peer conformity when confronted with opposing attitudes from parents only vs. peers and parents (Parent Conflict PM > Mutual Conflict PM)

Contributed by kathydo on Dec. 19, 2019

Collection: Neural sensitivity to conflicting attitudes supports greater conformity toward positive over negative influence in early adolescence

Communities: developmental

Description: Whole-brain analysis of the Parent Conflict PM > Mutual Conflict PM contrast. Adolescents’ binary choice of peer or parent was modeled as a parametric modulator (1=peer, 0=parent) of the neural response to Peer Conflict trials and Mutual Conflict trials.
